Where is Kalamazoo and what is the KVCC Campus like?

Kalamazoo County is located in the lower southwest corner of Michigan.  Kalamazoo Valley Community College has the Arcadia Commons campus in downtown Kalamazoo, and both the Texas Township and MTEC campuses located west of the city near the I-94 and US 131 highway exchange. 

Our Wellness and Fitness Center alone has inspired many locals to begin attending KVCC.  If you're into high tech, don't miss our renowned Dental Hygiene Clinic, Automotive Lab, and Computer Lab.  Is serenity more your thing?  Nothing beats the view of the Preserve from our two story Library windows.  You'll find many students studying in this quiet environment, taking advantage of the many resources the library has to offer, or occasionally napping in the warm sunlight.  Every hallway has a view of one of our three inner courtyards, each offering its own unique landscaping style.  Students engage their minds, relax and socialize in our beautiful and lush Student Commons.  And that's just on our Texas Township Campus. 

On your way into Kalamazoo to visit the Arcadia Commons Campus, take a detour through The Groves just around the curve from the Texas Township Campus.  In this Education - Business - Technology Park you will discover the Michigan Technical Education Center at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.  This unique, technically advanced building is where we provide employer-driven customized training services inside our amphitheatre, one of the reconfigurable classrooms or the multi-purpose labs.

When you arrive at the Arcadia Commons Campus in downtown Kalamazoo, be sure to take in the architectural designs of Anna Whitten Hall.  Then step inside the Center for New Media where imagination and technology come together to train and inspire you to participate in the dynamic future of media careers.  While you're in Kalamazoo, don't miss the opportunity to visit our state-of-the-art Kalamazoo Valley Museum and all the exciting exhibits it has to offer.  KVCC is proud to add this realm of innovative learning opportunities to our mission of providing lifelong learning experiences.
