Enrollment steps for Home School applicants

Home school students can begin their college career at Kalamazoo Valley Community College.  KVCC has been recognized both locally and at the national level as a home school friendly institution.

  1. Admission - Complete an application online or submit a printed version. Your home school representative's or paren't signature must be included with the application. You need to be admitted to KVCC before proceeding to the next step.

  2. Assessment - You may either submit your recent ACT scores or you may take the Placement Assessment for skill level evaluation. Contact the Student Service Center at 269-488-4100 to schedule an appointment. These scores are used to determine your correct course placement level.

  3. Orientation - Sign up for an orientation session with an academic advisor to learn important information about attending college and to select your first semester courses. Contact the Student Service Center at 269-488-4100 to schedule an appointment.

  4. Registration - Register for your classes online or by coming on campus during posted registration hours. Registration Dates and Times

  5. Payment - Pay for your classes by credit card online, by coming on campus, or by mail during deferred payment periods. Payment Information
