This one semester, nine-credit course prepares the student to work in the out-of-hospital setting as an entry level Emergency Care Provider. Emphasis is placed on mastery of CPR, patient assessment, bandaging and splinting, vehicle extrication, and emergency childbirth. All credits in this program apply directly towards the Paramedic certificate and Emergency Medical Services AAS degrees. *Please note that this program requires a specialized application packet.
