The Medical Assistant Technology program is a one-year certificate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) 1316 Park Street, Clearwater, FL 33756 (www.caahep.org) upon recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). You will be trained in the administrative and clinical skills necessary for employment in an ambulatory care setting. Upon graduation, you will be immediately elibigle to sit for AAMA Certification Examination. Successful completion of this examination will allow you to practice as a CMA (AAMA) anywhere in the United States or its territories. * Please note that this program requires a specialized application packet.
