Work Experience and Counseling Background
My higher education experience includes opportunities in student, academic, and college affairs, graduate studies, and institutional advancement programs. My human resources experience includes both profit and non-profit agencies, ranging from hospitality to behavioral health services.
My counseling experience includes working with college students and clients from community service agencies. Through personal, academic, and career advising, I encourage students to design his or her future though the many educational programs and services offered at KVCC.
I welcome the opportunity to meet with students who are just beginning to launch his or her college career, and the returning student who may be in a different stage in life. Being in the helping profession is very rewarding to me, as my special interests include gender studies, social justice, and sustainability issues.
