Checking Your Student Loan Information
on the Valley Information Portal (VIP)
All of your financial aid award information is available on
the KVCC VIP account. We encourage you to check your financial aid information
periodically through VIP for any changes to your financial aid eligibility, as
well as documents you need to submit to our office. Failure to submit required
documents may delay the completion of your financial aid award. The
instructions on this page apply directly to your student loan.
Please note: To receive a Federal Stafford loan to accept
or reduce your loan on your KVCC VIP account and complete the
Pre-Loan Certification form. First time
borrowers at KVCC are also required to complete
Entrance Loan Counseling.

https://vip.kvcc.edu
Check Status of Loan Application
From the VIP Students Tab:
- Quick Link: Online Financial Aid Information
- Select “Student Services & Financial Aid”
- Select “Online Financial Aid Information”
- Select “My Award Information”
- Select “Award by Aid Year”
- Submit Aid Year
- Select “Award Overview” tab
Your student loans will appear on your award as soon as the
financial aid office has processed your request. Please allow 2 weeks during
peak times for your loan to be processed. If your loan has not been awarded you
should check “Student Requirements’” to see if you have any outstanding tracking
requirements.
If you did not indicate on your interest in a student loan
when completing the FAFSA, you may do so by completing a
KVCC Intent/Adjustment Form
To See Loan Application History
From the VIP Students Tab:
- Quick Link: Online Financial Aid Information
- Select “Student Services & Financial Aid”
- Select “Online Financial Aid Information”
- Select “My Award Information”
- Select “Loan Application History”
You will see a breakdown of the
certification we send to your lender including amount of the loan, and the
semesters of the loan award.
To View Loan Payment
From the VIP Students Tab:
- Quick Link: Online Financial Aid Information
- Select “Student Services & Financial Aid”
- Select “Registration”
- Select “Registration Fee Assessment”
- Select Term
- Select Detail for Term.
You see all charges for the
semester, payments and authorized aid. Student loans will only appear when the
college receives the funds from your lender. Refer to class schedule for
initial credit balance release date.
To View Outstanding Requirements
From the VIP Students Tab:
- Quick Link: Online Financial Aid Information
- Select “Student Services & Financial Aid”
- Select “Online Financial Aid Information”
- Select “My Eligibility”
- Select “Student Requirements”
- Select “Aid Year”
You can check here to see if
you have any outstanding requirements for financial aid.
