Alternative Loans

Alternative loans are non-federal loans used to supplement financial aid for credit worthy students and their families.  KVCC encourages students to only consider these loans after all federal financial aid is exhausted.  The student is the consumer and should carefully research and consider all costs involved with these loans.  The Michigan Student Financial Aid Association has issued a consumer warning regarding these loans:   Important Warning for Students Regarding Private Loans
