Refresher Training for EMTs
This
course will run Saturdays and Sundays starting Janaury 26 and continuing through
February 3. This course follows the national curriculum for refresher
courses at the Basic EMT level. An eight hour lab session has been added to meet
the State of Michigan’s CE requirements for EMTs. The course will review each
subsection of the national curriculum including the subtest of the National
Registry of EMT’s written exam. This course is open to licensed Basic EMT’s as
a refresher course or to EMT students as a capstone course in the certificate
program. Students who successfully complete didactic and practical competency
will be issued a certificate of completion. For more information on this course contact

This
course will run Saturdays and Sundays starting February 9 and continuing through
February 24. This
course is designed around the curriculum for a Paramedic Refresher program and
meets the CE requirements of the State of Michigan. The course will review each
of the 6 subsections of the National Registry of EMT's Paramedic exam as
outlined by the national objectives for refresher programs. Students will also
spend time in the practical skills lab reviewing each of the practical exam
stations and and verifying competency of each skill. This course is open to
licensed Paramedics as a refresher course or to Paramedic students as a capstone
