Join Kalamazoo Promise Services for this informative event for learning more about understanding and overcoming test anxiety. Students will learn how to interpret a better understanding of the topic and can learn how to build a plan for successful test taking experiences.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Student Financial Services Office is hosting several FAFSA® Nights to assist families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Staff will be available to answer questions.

Students do not need to be attending Kalamazoo Valley to receive assistance in completing the FAFSA®. If you have questions or need help, stop by the Student Financial Services Office every Tuesday between 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., Room 9210 at the Texas Township Campus.

Taps on Tuesday events are returning this winter from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Marilyn J. Schlack Culinary and Allied Health Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Join us for these happy hour-style events hosted by our culinary and brewing students and staff. Enjoy student crafted beer and food pairings as well as appetizers and wine. To join the fun, simply walk-in, no reservations required. Taps on Tuesdays take place each week from Jan. 16 - April 16 (with the exception of March 12).

  • Wednesday, April 17, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Anna Whitten Hall Main Lobby
  • Thursday, April 18, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Texas Township Campus Cafeteria in the Lower Level
Guests can pickup their graduation tickets, Kalamazoo Promise, Veterans and PTK regalia and honor cords. Guests can also buy regalia from the Bookstore, decorate their graduation caps, RSVP for commencement, pose fora professional headshot and enjoy some food.

Valley Food Share is an initiative designed to meet the immediate food needs of Kalamazoo Valley students. Through the program, currently enrolled students can pick up a bag, or a share which includes food grown locally and sourced through our own Food Innovation Center as well as non-perishable items from Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
