Student Borrowing
Books may be borrowed for three weeks. Reference
books, magazines, items on reserve and audio-visual materials must be used
in the library.
Identification
Students and employees must have a KVCC ID card to borrow materials or
use items on reserve. ID cards are issued at the student service
center on either campus.
Services Between Libraries
We have a daily delivery between the Texas Township and Arcadia Commons
Campus Libraries.
Ask at the circulation desk if you need materials from the library
on the other campus. Renewals
To renew materials, visit or phone the circulation desk at either library or
log into your ValleyCat
account to renew materials yourself.
Overdue and Lost Materials
Returning materials by the due date is your
responsibility.
As a courtesy, we will send you a notice if you have overdue
materials. Please be sure your current address is on file with the college
so any overdue mailings will reach you.
Overdue fines are charged for
materials returned after the due date. Materials overdue for 21
days or more are considered lost - a replacement fee and
overdue fines will be assessed. Lost items will also result in
a hold being placed on your college account, blocking your ability to
obtain transcripts and grades. Return materials on time
and never pay any penalties!
View Your Online Account
Need a list of the items you currently have checked out of the library?
Log into your ValleyCat account using
your KVCC V number and your last name. A listing of items checked out
on
your card will display. Any overdue fines or lost materials fees will
also be listed.
