Instrumental Ensemble Opportunities KVCC offers several possible instrumental ensemble experiences for students and members of the community.  MUS110 KVCC Campus Band is a mixed instrumental performing group open to brass, woodwind, string, and percussion players.  The ensemble explores a variety of musical styles and performs for KVCC events such as Commencement, Common's Mini-Concerts, semester concerts, and other special events on campus. Under the course heading of MUS 107, students may participate for credit in the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra. This off-campus ensemble requires an audition for permission to enter.  Following a successful audition, you may perform with the orchestra as either a credit or noncredit participant.  Contact Chris Garrett (488-4102 or cgarrett@kvcc.edu) for information on setting up an audition.
