Tuition and Fee Payment Information

Winter 2010

Due Dates

  • Full payment for registrations between October 12 – December 7 is due by 7:00 pm, Monday, December 7. 
    All payments, including those mailed in, must be received by 7:00 pm.
    The Tuition Pay Station will be open until 7:00 pm on this Monday to collect in person payment.
  • Beginning January 1, 2010 and continuing during the time period online credit card processing is unavailable,
    the payment deadline has been extended to within two business days of registration.

    [Normal time frame: Beginning December 11, 2009, payment in full is due within one business day of registration.]
  • Any remaining balance not covered by financial aid awards must be paid by the due dates.
  • You are responsible for officially dropping your classes if you decide not to attend.
  • If full payment is not received by the deadlines your classes may be dropped.

Payment Process

  • After registering for classes, students may review account balances on the web under View Account Detail and Pay.  No tuition bills will be mailed.
  • Methods of Payment
    1. Cash
    2. Checks made payable to KVCC written for the exact amount of tuition and fees. 
    1. Credit card payments must temporarily be processed in person, via fax or telephone while we are undergoing computer software changes. During this time that online credt card payments cannot be processed, we are extending the payment deadline to two business days to help alleviate any inconvenience this may cause. We thank you for your patience.

      For your convenience we are offering the following credit card payment options:

      1. Payment by fax.  Fill out the Credit Card Payment Form and fax to (269) 488- 4199.

      2. Payment in person at the Texas Township campus Pay Station, room 3110
          
      or the Student Service Center inside Anna Whitten Hall on the Arcadia campus.

      3. Payment via Drop box at the Texas Township Campus Pay Station window, room 3110
           Envelopes are available next to the drop box which is accessible when the campus is open.
      4. Payment over the phone during regular business hours. Please call (269) 488-4292.
          
      You will have the option to wait for the next available person or leave your
           contact phone number and Pay Station personnel will return your call. 



      Note: No partial payments accepted.

  • Payment Plan
    1. Allows students enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours to pay tuition in installments. 
    2. Arrangements must be made prior to the payment deadline.  Final application date is January 19, 2010.
    3. A $30 nonrefundable administrative fee per semester is charged for this service.
    4. The first installment plus the payment plan fee must be made at the time of application.  The initial down payment is 50% of the total tuition owed.
    5. Students can apply for the plan, sign the promissory note and receive additional plan details at the Financial Services Office on the Texas Township campus or at the Student Service Center on the Arcadia Commons Campus.  A complete explanation of the payment plan is available.

  • Payment is transferable to new classes if the exchange is made during the refund period.  Added credit in excess of dropped will be assessed the current tuition rate.  Dropped credit in excess of added will be refunded according to the refund schedule.

  • Tuition refunds will be credited back to the original credit card, or a check will be mailed if original payment was made with cash or a check.
