Standards of Progress
In order to remain in the Respiratory Care Program,
progress to the next semester, complete the program, graduate, and be eligible for board
examinations, each student must earn a grade of at least 2.0 in each required RCP course.

The following is a suggested sequence of courses for
full-time students. If you are a part-time student or have transferred courses from
another school, you should generally complete courses listed under semester I before
moving on to semester II, then III, then IV. Elective courses and physical education
courses may be taken at any time. Meet with a counselor to develop a personalized program
plan which will meet your needs. Your counselor can help you make any necessary changes to
this recommended sequence.
