Sample Works Cited Page

MLA Format

A works cited page is an alphabetical listing of all of the works cited in the paper. Gather all of the necessary information when you are doing your background reading - author’s name, titles of books and articles, publishers, publication dates, and page numbers. You can prevent an anxious search for information as you create the works cited page.

You may go to the MLA Web site for current information: www.mla.or/style/sources.htm.
