Located in the east wing of the Texas Township Campus, the Student Computer Lab is a peaceful and convenient environment for completing those pesky assignments or getting that additional assistance needed to get the job done. The Lab is open more than 75 hours each week during the Fall and Spring semesters.
We have plenty of computers, 88 PCs (from Pentium 4's to Pentium D's), and 5 Profile Macs. You shouldn't have trouble finding what you need. There is a range of software including Microsoft Office, Project, and various nursing software. You will also find software development resources such as C/C++, Visual Basic.NET, Just BASIC, COBOL, and RPG. We welcome any currently enrolled student to come in and check us out, type that paper for English, work on your CIS assignments (debug that program that's been hassling you), browse the Web, check e-mail, use one of our 9 scanners or laser printers. There's a plethora of things to do, you may actually enjoy getting your work done! Just remember to have a current KVCC photo ID. Stop at the service desk to inquire about lab guidelines,
location of software, and request assistance.
