Alternative Routes to a Bachelors Degree
Many four-year schools offer the associate
degree graduate alternative options to earning a bachelors degree.
Below are brief descriptions of several of these schools with contact
information.
Davenport University
Davenport University offers
graduates of KVCC the option of finishing a bachelors degree with a "3+1"
option. This means an associate degree graduate has the possibility of
completing up to the equivalent of a third year (another 30 credit hours)
beyond the completion of the associate degree at KVCC. Contact the

University - New Adult Students. This representative visits the KVCC campus several times during each
semester
Central Michigan University
Central Michigan University offers degree completion
programs through their office of Off-Campus Programs. The completion
programs allow graduates of KVCC with an Associate of Arts to transfer
directly into a bachelors degree in Administration/Organization

Cornerstone University
Cornerstone University offers an accelerated
degree completion program for associate degree graduates. The degree
programs are designed for working adults with at least two years of full

Franklin University

CCA
Kaplan University
KVCC has entered into an Articulation Agreement with Kaplan
University. Kaplan is an accredit university with a totally on-line
method of course instruction. Students completing an Associate degree
are eligible for a block transfer of credits, the entire associate degree is
credited for transfer. For further information contact

Miller College
Miller College was founded specifically to
meet the needs of students needing a bachelors degree. Courses are
offered at the junior/senior level only. Courses meet on the campus of
Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek. Information may be obtained from

or from the Miller representative during KVCC campus visits scheduled several times
each semester. Northwood University
Northwood University has a BBA program, with several areas of emphasis,
including Health Care Management and Automotive Supply Management.
These degree programs are available primarily for adult students. NU
has provided a listing of common core requirements for students interested
in completing a degree through their University Curriculum. Follow this link

Northwood Equivalency Seina Heights
University Seina Heights offers
a bachelors degree completion program for associate degree graduates in any
field. There are several degree options including a Bachelors of
Applied Science for students holding AAS degrees. Find information on-line

Spring Arbor University Another university offering an accelerated bachelors degree program.
This university program is available in Kalamazoo close to the KVCC campus.
