This program is designed specifically to transfer to Grand Valley State University. Consult with a counselor for specific transfer information to other universities. The O.T. program at GVSU is a six-year program. Students transferring to GVSU from KVCC will choose a major at GVSU leading to a B.S. degree. Application is made to the professional level of O.T. during Fall of the junior year at GVSU. Admission to the O.T. program is competitive and is based on the following: 1) Completion of pre-requisite course work with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the pre-requisite courses and in the last 60 hours of all course work, 2) Two formal letters of recommendation, 3) Interview, 4) Writing sample, 5) Experience - minimum of 50 hours in O.T. setting.
