Students should apply to WMU one year prior to anticipated enrollment. For entrance into the School of Education, the student must have a 2.5 GPA; have passed the Basic Skills section of the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification; and complete the application form from the College of Education. No courses with grades less than 2.0 will transfer to WMU. A student does not specifically need WPE 109 or WPE 110. Any two credits of aquatic classes may be used to meet the requirement.
