The courses listed are required for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy(Pharm.D) program at Ferris State University. Admission is very competitive, selection factors include: 1) GPA in required science and mathematics courses is required 2) Minimum cumulative GPA should be 2.5, but average GPA of admitted students is 3.5 or above. 3) Performance on the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT). The PCAT test must be taken by September, one year prior to expected admission. Test registration is available on line and the testing is web based. One of the Humantities courses must be at the 200 level. Additional Biology courses must be completed at FSU prior to admission to the Pharmacy program. Political Science and WPE are not required by FSU. They are only required for the associates degree. There are additional courses required for students entering the PharmD program beginning Fall 2014, these courses are above the associate degree requirements. The courses include PHY 111, BIO 201 and BIO 130, COM 101 or COM 113, and MATH 158 or MATH 160. These courses may be completed at KVCC.
