Student Parents Invited to Share Their Experiences at June 17 Focus Group

Balancing college, work and family responsibilities can be challenging. Kalamazoo Valley Community College is inviting student parents to help shape future support services by participating in a Student Parent Focus Group on Tuesday, June 17.

The focus group will take place from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in Room 4230 at the Texas Township Campus. The session is designed to give student parents an opportunity to share their experiences, discuss barriers they face and provide feedback on resources that could help them succeed while pursuing their educational goals.

If you are balancing family responsibilities while attending classes, your perspective matters. Feedback gathered during the discussion will help the college better understand the needs of student parents and identify ways to strengthen support services.

Children are welcome to attend with their parents, and food and swag bags will be provided for participants. Student parents interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance using this link. We hope to see you there!
