Online Learning

Welcome to Online and Blended Learning at Kalamazoo Valley Community College! We want you to help you be successful and achieve your educational goals, so we have provided a learner-centered environment accessible to students seven days a week and 24 hours a day.

Moodle is our learning management system (LMS). If you take an online or blended class, you will use Moodle to access your class materials, assignments, and exams.

Online and Blended Course Information

KVCC offers both online and blended courses. You can find out what courses are currently being offered in an online or blended format by clicking on "Current Current Online and Blended Course Offerings."

Before taking an online class at KVCC, students must successfully complete an Online Orientation to Moodle. This orientation can be taken at any time after you have been admitted to KVCC and have received your username and password. After successfully completing the orientation, you will be able to access your online courses in Moodle. This orientation is designed to help online learners become familiar with the features of our online learning management system - Moodle. In this course, students will complete several modules to learn to use the tools of the system as well as how to navigate through an online course. Students are expected to have basic Internet and e-mail skills before beginning the orientation.
