The Faculty Success Center at Kalamazoo Valley is dedicated to providing professional development activities related to teaching and learning. Our programs are designed to provide full and adjunct faculty with an array of information and resources as they strive for continuous improvement in the classroom. Faculty can also receive instructional technology related assistance from the friendly, helpful staff.

Coming March 21: Seeds of Pedagogy (1/2 day of workshops)
Two new offerings from TechSmith:
Learn what's new with TechSmith’s Snagit to help you communicate more effectively with the use of images, videos, and animated gifs. We will explore a few real-world examples. Together we will walk through some workflows that you can apply right away when communicating with your students and colleagues. If you’d like to follow along with some hands-on practice during the session, we will have the latest version of Snagit installed.
March 17, 2017, 9:00 – 10:00 am (online session) in TTC 2420
This hands-on training session will focus on the fundamentals of using Camtasia to record, edit, and share your video lessons with students. The session will be divided into 3 (50-minute) sections that will build on each other. You are welcome to stay for all 3, or pick and choose which sessions you’d like to attend. Here’s a brief overview of what will be covered during each session:
