General Education / Transfer Programs

girl at computerStudents attending community college, with the intent of transferring to a four-year institution is a growing trend. You can receive two years of high-quality education at a very low expense and transfer to a four-year college.

Why attend KVCC?

  • Community college education is the most affordable in higher education. Tuition at KVCC is at least one-third the cost of most four-year institutions.

  • Classes are often smaller than at four-year institutions. You can receive individual attention.

  • We offer a large number of General Education classes that allow you to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree program at KVCC and then transfer to a university to finish the final two years of the bachelor's degree.

  • Academic help is also available through transitional courses and tutoring.
