Financial Aid

• Apply as early as possible.  Application cycle begins January 1st.
• Application materials are dated.  Use appropriate year materials for the associated award year (ie. for the 2007/08 academic year use the 2007/08 FAFSA).
• Collect year-end income summary information as early as possible.
• Complete your income tax form as early as possible.
• If your taxes are prepared by someone, get on their calendar as early as possible.
• Copy all forms submitted, including the FAFSA.
• Develop a file for record maintenance.
• Avoid vendors selling application completion services.
• Avoid vendors selling scholarship search services.
• If you have questions, contact the Financial Aid Office at the College you plan to attend.
• Submit any special circumstances you may have in writing to the Financial Aid Office.
