Newest Scholarship at KVCC Honors Long Time KVCC Trustee
A scholarship honoring Anna Whitten, longtime KVCC Trustee, community volunteer and humanitarian, has been established by her great grand daughter, Nicole Jennings. The endowed scholarship will provide support to a resident of either Kalamazoo or Port Huron, Michigan. The scholarship will be open to any program of study and to a second year student carrying a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 24 credit hours completed at KVCC. All candidates must have participated in community service efforts or participated in volunteer work. This one time award will be a need based scholarship with preference given to greatest need.
The scholarship will commence in the fall of 2011.
