Sept. 18 ACCU Fall Kick off Explores Nepal
The ACCU hosts its fall kick off, "Nepal: What is it like almost halfway around the world?"
noon to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 in the Stryker Theater at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.
Come, sit and listen to computing support technician Jeremy Smith talk of his recent trip to Nepal: riding elephants, exploring the exotic streets of Kathmandu, and hiking to Everest Base Camp. You will hear tales of monkeys living among humans, sacred Buddhist monasteries high in the Himalayas, and the infectious good nature of the Nepalese people.
Bring a sack lunch. Drinks and cookies will be provided.
