All Star Chef’s Dinner Features Kalamazoo Valley’s John Korycki and Michael Murray
Director of Culinary Education John Korycki and Culinary Instructor Chef Michael Murray will represent Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s culinary arts program at Bravo Restaurant’s annual All Star Chef’s Dinner Sunday, February 19.
Together, with students enrolled in the culinary program, Korycki will prepare beef cheek pierogi while Murray, a chef at Mangia Mangia, will dish up cornish hen with confit thigh and frenched breast with demi dumplings.
The Italian-themed restaurant hosts the $90 a plate all-star event each year. Korycki and Murray will join six other guest chefs from area restaurants and culinary schools, including Chinn Chinn, Millenium Restaurant Group, Bold, Grand Rapids Community College Culinary School and Nonla Vietnamese Street Food to prepare an eight-course meal for more than 190 people.
The sold out event kicks off at 5 p.m.
