Statistics show that the best way for anyone to land a job in their chosen field is to finish college and earn a degree or certificate. In fact, students who complete their associate degree or certificate can expect to earn about $400,000 more in a lifetime than a high school graduate, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

With these statistics in mind, members of Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society are spearheading a campaign to encourage fellow classmates to commit to completing their studies at the college.

On March 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Texas Township Tower Entrance, PTK members will host signing event for students are committed to graduating. On March 27 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m, the event will be held in the main lobby at the Culinary/Allied Health Building. Later that day, students can come to Anna Whitten Hall from 12-2 p.m and Commit to Graduate!
