Multi-Factor Authentication

To improve online security, Kalamazoo Valley Community College is moving to multi-factor authentication (MFA) through Microsoft 365. MFA is an IT authentication technique that requires a user to present at least two factors to prove their identity. Your MyValley login will require MFA in the near future. You can get a head start by setting up multi-factor authentication now.

You will be able to add a safe and secure multi-factor verification method for your account from a range of authentication options (such as mobile app, phone call or text message) to access your applications.

You can complete the set-up process using your Kalamazoo Valley email address as your username (example: username1234@mail.kvcc.edu for students or username1234@kvcc.edu for employees) and your regular Kalamazoo Valley password that you use to log in today to MyValley or Canvas.
