Metro Transit Bus Pass Information

Kalamazoo Valley students who frequently utilize the Metro Transit for transportation are eligible to purchase a bus pass that provides unlimited access to rides throughout the duration of the semester. The pass costs $240 and can be paid for by using cash, credit card or financial aid.

Payments with cash or credit card will be accepted directly at the Kalamazoo Transportation Center.

To request use of financial aid to obtain your pass, complete the Financial Aid Bus Pass Authorization form.

Once you receive a confirmation email that your authorization request has been approved, go to the Kalamazoo Transportation Center, located at 459 N. Burdick St. by no later than the last day of the bus pass window for the semester. If lost or misplaced, passes may be re-issued by paying a $50 replacement fee.

You must present your Valley ID to obtain your pass.

Bus passes are available each semester as follows:

• Fall: September 1st through September 30th - pass expires December 31st
• Winter: January 1st through January 31st - pass expires April 30th
• Summer: May 1st through May 31st - pass expires August 31st

You will not be able to use your financial aid outside of the dates listed above to purchase a bus pass (or replacement pass).
