Students who want to use the Wellness and Fitness Center at the Texas Township campus should register for a WPE class.
If you are planning to take a Wellness and Physical Education (WPE) course, you will have access to the Wellness and Fitness Center for the length of that course. If you're not planning to take a WPE class this semester you should register for the Fitness Center Usage class, WFC 090, to gain access for the entire semester or for just eight weeks. This class requires the payment of a fee. For access for the entire semester, the fee is equivalent to the cost of half of an in-district credit hour, and enrollment in any other class. For access for just eight weeks, the fee is equivalent to the cost of one quarter of an in-district credit hour, and enrollment in any other class. Make sure to select the correct section of WFC 090 that fits your needs.
You can enroll in WFC 090 at any time through the last day to withdraw from the part of term (either 15 week or first or second 8 week), but the fee is not pro-rated and there is no refund after the first week of the term for which you have registered. As long as you remain enrolled in classes, you will maintain access to the Wellness and Fitness Center using your student ID card. The card will become inactive if you withdraw from all of your classes. Please note that WFC 090 is not offered for credit toward a degree, does not count in your full or part-time status for the semester, and it will not be graded so you do not need to audit the class.
Hours may change during breaks and holidays, please call 488-4184 (WFC) or 488-4396 (Gym Facility) for information.
