Online books can be accessed through Ebrary and the Gale Virtual Reference Library.

Databases are restricted to use by Kalamazoo Valley Community College students, faculty and staff.

  • Michigan E-Library Academic OneFile: Thousands of full-text articles, with extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine (including 285 surgery videos), social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects.
  • Public Database Directory of Open Access Journals: Free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholary journals, covering all subjects and many languages.
  • Michigan E-Library Gale Virtual Reference Library: GVRL is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research in business, environment, history, medicine, nation & world, and science.
  • Michigan E-Library General OneFile: Thousands of magazine and newspaper articles on a wide range of subject areas. Most articles are full-text; many include graphics and images.
