PTK Members Awarded All-Michigan Academic Team and Distinguished Member Acknowledgment

Three members of Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter were recently named to the PTK All-Michigan Academic Team and one PTK member was awarded PTK's Distinguished Member Acknowledgment. The chapter's winners were awarded at Kalamazoo Valley's Board meeting.

Thirty-nine states participate in PTK's All-State Academic Team selection process. Nominees are chosen from throughout each state's participating colleges and are recognized for their scholarly achievement and merit. Winners are awarded medallions and are eligible to win Coca-Cola Academic Team recognition and scholarships.

Students eligible to join Kalamazoo Valley's PTK chapter must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or more and at least 12 credit hours earned at the college. To learn more about Kalamazoo Valley's PTK chapter, email .
