Cannabis Workforce Training Registration Opens March 10 at Kalamazoo Valley Community College

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Registration opens on March 10 for Kalamazoo Valley Community College's next nine-week program to train individuals for careers in the expanding cannabis industry.

To meet industry and community needs, Kalamazoo Valley offers online non-credit workforce and medical cannabis training programs. The nine-week, online certificate programs provide training for the job readiness needed in a cannabis career field.

Current offerings include Cannabis Cultivations Specialist Certificate, Cannabis Retail Specialist Certificate and Cannabis Extraction and Product Development Specialist Certificate. The college also offers Medical Cannabis Education through a self-paced, online training program that teaches healthcare providers, dispensary personnel and patients about the potential benefits of cannabis for heath.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College partners with Green Flower, the leader in cannabis education, to offer these career certificates which are built to match exactly what employers are hiring for in each sector of the cannabis industry today.
