A Sea of Talent: A Free Community Showcase of Art, Writing, and Culinary Treats by Valley Students
Explore Student Artistry at 'Elements' Creative Expo on April 25
Kalamazoo Valley Community College invites the public to dive into "Elements: A Creative Expression of Water" during the annual Kalamazoo Valley Creates Expo on Saturday, April 25.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. across the Arcadia Commons Campus in downtown Kalamazoo. This year's theme, water, serves as the catalyst for a campus-wide showcase of student innovation, storytelling and technical skill.
The expo is spread across three downtown locations, each offering a unique look at student achievement:
- The Center for New Media: Animation, digital design and interactive media.
- Anna Whitten Hall: Fine arts exhibits and creative writing showcases.
- Kalamazoo Valley Museum: Musical performances and multidisciplinary displays.
In addition to the visual and literary arts, attendees can sample culinary creations prepared by Kalamazoo Valley students.
Connect With the College The KVC Expo isn't just a show — it's an opportunity for prospective students to see their future in action. Faculty and staff from various creative programs will be on-site to discuss academic pathways and answer questions about the college's offerings.
This event is not just for the immediate Valley community! Whether you are a neighbor, a local art lover or a future student, join us to celebrate the creative energy of the Kalamazoo Valley community.
