KV Circle Center to Close Temporarily Between Semesters
The KV Circle Center will be closed April 28 through May 10 between the winter and summer semesters.
The center will reopen for the summer semester at 10 a.m. on May 11.
Students who rely on the center for food support are encouraged to plan ahead and take advantage of available resources in the Kalamazoo community during the temporary closure. Several local organizations offer food assistance and related support services.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provides access to the MI Bridges cash assistance program at newmibridges.michigan.gov.
Additional food assistance is available through Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, which can be reached at 269.343.3663 or online at kzoolf.org, and Twelve Baskets Food Pantry at 269.532.4912 or twelve-baskets.org.
Community-based support is also available through Valley Family Church at 269.324.5599, Ministry with Community at 269.343.6073 and Kalamazoo Gospel Mission at 269.345.2974.
For a broader range of services, including assistance with food, housing, utilities and daily household needs, students can dial 211 for Michigan 211 or visit the state-wide online webpage for local resource connections.
The KV Circle Center remains committed to supporting students' basic needs and encourages anyone in need to utilize these community resources while the center is closed.
