Kalamazoo Valley to Host Adult Connect Program for Returning Students
Kalamazoo Valley Community College is helping adult learners take the next step toward earning a college credential through its upcoming Adult Connect program this June.
The free two-session program will take place on Tuesdays, June 16 - 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Texas Township Campus. Designed for adults who have earned credits in the past but have not yet completed a degree or certificate, Adult Connect offers personalized support through the enrollment process.
Participants will receive assistance with applying for Michigan Reconnect and completing the FAFSA, meet one-on-one with a pathway advisor, choose fall classes and explore campus resources. The program is intended to simplify the process of returning to college while helping students feel confident and connected before the semester begins.
Those who complete both sessions will receive $300 to help cover the cost of books or other related educational expenses. A light dinner will be provided during each session.
Registration is required by June 10.
