If hard keys are required (i.e. desk keys, file cabinet keys, etc.), email email@example.com or call 488-4391 with the key number. Key numbers are normally stamped on the lock.
Keys for offices or labs require permission from your immediate supervisor and Dean/VP. That request can be made through email with approvals forwarded. A room number is required to provide the accurate key.
Most requests can be processed immediately. If a key requires duplication or multiple keys, there can be up to a week's waiting time.
Access Card Activation
New employees: email or call with specific room needs.
Lost or replacement card: No action is immediately required. Card will provide previous access within 24 hours.
Fill out a Property Disposal form, get required signatures, and submit to Director of Purchasing. Contact will be made to remove items.
Fill out a Destruction of Records form, get required signatures, and submit to Facility Services. Boxes of records will be picked up, shredded, and completed form turned into Director of Library for retention.
Emergency Custodial Needs
Call the Facility Services desk at 488.4443 to report spills, burned lights, restroom needs, etc. Custodial personnel will be dispatched as needed.
Special Cleaning Request
There are numerous cleaning projects not considered routine. They may require scheduling or, depending on the task, outside services to complete. These requests can be made via email firstname.lastname@example.org or a Maintenance Work Request. If special scheduling or provisions are required, you will be contacted and the project discussed.
Currently, paper recycling is offered in all office areas. Routine disposal is completed by the custodial staff during their rounds. We also provide battery recycling, recycle light bulbs, metal recycling, and partner with PTK to extend student participation with glass, metal, and plastic recycling in the bins located throughout the buildings.
