This program is designed to prepare students for an entry-level position in a word/information processing environment. Emphasis is on communication skills, keyboarding, and software training. It can be applied to a one-year certificate program in legal office assistant, medical administrative assistant, medical language specialist, office management, administrative support, or to the administrative assistant AAS degree program.
